    Default Shari's Indoor Pond

Here is my freshwater indoor pond. It's a plastic livestock water trough from Tractor Supply Company. I have an excellent filter and heater and sinking thermometer. I do have an air pump that I have been running. But, my new addition is so small, I will leave it off for now. I don't want Dill to become exhausted fighting the current. I have silk plants and a large Chinese Temple for places to hide. I have a large open area for swimming and playing. Orandas can grow eight to twelve inches in length and they will need the open swimming area. It's a 40 gallon pond which is the minimum requirement of twenty gallons per fancy goldfish. So, I will not be adding anymore fancy goldfish to this indoor pond.

That is really nice. I am sure your fish love it.

Wow, really nice. I would consider if my cats would not think it was their personal drinking trough.

Thank you so much, Cynthia! A cat would have a field day in my house with: 9 Bettas, 2 Orandas, 1 Diamond Dove, 1 Dwarf Roborovski Hamster and 1 Chihuahua. And, 1 Flowerhorn that I'm getting from Beltway Aquarium this weekend!
