    If you peek into the fish room and see an aquarist in the act of titrating,

    a. quick, run away and close the door behind you!

    b. a filter is being cleaned.

    c. a water test is being performed.

    d. a tank is being filtered.

    The Cs have it!

    Titration is the process of slowly dripping on solution into another, noting the point of a change in color or other significant transformation, and measuring the amount of solution it took to achieve this change. This is a common procedure used to measure the amount of a chemical in solution and is commonly used in many aquarium water test kits.
