2 recent probs with nano : larger pump in back would cause small hose to come loose from tank spraying everywhere and losing power. fix right now is teflon tape and zip tie on connection to hold it together tightly hose seems tight when you try to pull off but maybe vibration causes loosening suggestions?
2nd what I think is mechanical critters seem to be able to climb up calcarous on back wall and into back of tank also have had fish jump over have had berghia, hermits, snails, fish, and shrimp all in one of 3 chambers in back of tank how do you prevent this?

If your really worried about them in the rear area
Get some plastic (lexan, milk jug, anything), make a strip that closes up the gap between the divider wall and lid. Use some super glue gel and glue the strip on the sump side of the tank (so no one can see it).. Make sure the strip doesn't causing any problems with air flow or cable routing. on a side note, I have a starfish, a shrimp, and a couple snails & hermits that go in and out of the rear area all the time. (lower grill is missing some grates) It cant be bad for the tank because they are cleaning up all the garbage that is collected in the sump. Mabye they like whats going on back there... -T

I just don't want anything crawling back there and dying it is fine if it is critters that can come and go to the back but not fish/shrimp that can't
