Not always home, but tested and had great results you can go 7 hours with out touching it.

Plus the automatic one has such a short power cord, you have to hook an extension cord to it, that is why my last one broke, the extension cord was to short and the unit fell of the tank.

why not a longer air hose vs extension cord?

I want auto ones I am too high strung and get stressed out about the tanks being off not laid back like Ken
